"I started writing in elementary school when I first discovered how much fun it was to create complex characters and exciting new worlds by simply using the power of my own words. My introduction into the horror genre started when I was eleven years old. I saw the original Friday the 13th on HBO when my dad finally agreed to let me watch after weeks of begging. From that point on, I became an avid horror movie fan, enjoying the many cult classics of the early and late 1980s.
My favorite horror novel is “IT” by Stephen King. I am an avid fan of many of Mr. King’s novels as well as his memoir, “On Writing.” I also enjoy the many works of Dean Koontz, Michael Crichton and Steve Alten.
My first self-published novel, however, was an action-based drama. “Pummeled” was published in June of 2018. I loved creating the character of Bree Aniston - a character who possesses remarkable strength and endurance. Out of all the many characters I’ve created, Bree still remains my favorite to this day. “Pummeled” remains my longest novel to date.
In October of 2019, I fulfilled my lifelong dream with my second novel (but first novel in the horror genre) and self-published “Dragon's Blood,” the story of a monster awakened after ninety years. It became an instant Amazon Bestseller.
In addition to writing, I spent many years as an actor and a playwright. Following my debut in the horror realm, I published an old collection of stage plays, “Playing with the Macabre” in November of 2019. Playwriting has always been a passion of mine and I hope to pursue it again one day.
Next was the dystopian horror tale, “Welcome to Oblivion” which hit bookshelves in the Fall of 2020. It is based on recurring nightmares I had over fifteen years ago. One of my favorite lines that I’ve ever written stems from this novel: “Nightmares are Patient. They don’t always die when the physical body awakens. Sometimes they go into hibernation … and they wait for your mind to open up and let them back in.”
My most recent publication in March of 2021, “Clippings” is a bizarre tale of a serial killer known as “The Clipper.” It is solely written in the form of blogs, transcripts, newspaper articles and social media posts as the trail to #catchtheclipper heats up!
My next publication is the long-awaited sequel to my action-based drama, “Pummeled.” “Pummeled: Submission” will continue the story of Bree Aniston and is scheduled for a Fall 2021 release.
Finally, I am thrilled to announce that I will be co-authoring “The Third Floor” with an aspiring horror writer, Miss Anna Matthews which is tentatively scheduled for a Spring 2022 release.
